Client: Alex Andersen Ølund A/S (AAO) - A leading Danish logistics company with a fleet of approximately 300 trucks, specializing in the transport of temperature-sensitive goods such as flowers.
Case: Due to increased demand in the high season, AAO has to rent additional trucks and hire substitute drivers that can take on jobs on short notice. The recruitment of these drivers currently happens word-of-mouth or through social media, which turns out to be difficult to manage in the long run.
Solution: A web application for AAO's managers where they can manage jobs and assign trips to available drivers who have shown interest in substituting through a recruiting app.
This project was part of an exam in collaboration with other students while studying Web Development.
The administration panel is built with ASP.NET Core based on an MVC architecture using C#, SQL, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript. During this project, I was responsible for the implementation of .NET Core Identity for authentication (with an MSSQL database), filtering and sorting data, pagination, cookies, and a calendar view.
Below is a short video demonstrating the prototype.
